Job summary

Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH is seeking a dedicated nurse to join our Neurological Institute for night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am, with every other weekend work. This role supports advanced neurological care across a multi-disciplinary team in a state-of-the-art facility.

You will provide direct nursing care, implement care plans, monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and coordinate discharges while educating patients and families to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• One year of current acute care RN experience (military RN experience considered).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
