Job summary

Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orlando seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU). The APP will manage patient care from admission to discharge under physician supervision, participating in two weeks in EMU, one week inpatient care, and on-call coverage with weekend neurology coverage.

The ideal candidate will hold a Florida APRN license or PA-C with NCCPA certification, BLS and PALS, and relevant pediatric neurology experience, with relocation benefits

Qualifications

• APRN/PA requirements for Florida practice.
• Pediatric neurology certification preferred or required.
• BLS and PALS certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care from admission to discharge in the EMU under physician supervision.
• Collaborate with MDs and multidisciplinary team for patient management.
• Cover inpatient neurology on weekends and during on-call periods.
