Job summary

Advocate Health in Oak Lawn is seeking an Ambulatory and Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) for part-time 20 hours weekly in pediatrics/outpatient setting.

You will provide high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure safety and compassionate care in ambulatory clinics; requires nursing program completion, RN license in Illinois, BLS, and 1 year RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process in ambulatory care settings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, therapeutic care and uphold professional standards.
• Lead efforts to ensure the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
