Job summary

Advocate Health in Georgia is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Pediatric Endocrinology Center at 1062 Forsyth St. This full-time role supports daily patient care in a specialty clinic, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with a 40-hour workweek.

Responsibilities include nursing assessments, care planning under RN supervision, timely documentation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program with active license.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Ability to perform nursing assessments and document care.
• Strong teamwork and communication with clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Participates in nursing assessments based on data.
• Recognizes and responds to immediate patient needs.
• Documents observations, treatments and patient responses.
• Supports plan of care development under RN supervision.
• Communicates changes to the clinical team.
• Ensures tasks are completed and care is timely.
• Maintains progress notes consistent with policy.
