Job summary

Sanford Health in Fargo, ND is seeking a licensed practical nurse to join our ambulatory pediatric endocrinology clinic. You will work under supervision, coordinate care, educate families, and serve as the primary nurse for a provider within scope of practice.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, documentation, medication administration, and patient-family counseling in a fast-paced clinic setting. Clinic operates Monday–Friday, daytime shifts with no weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and must hold an LPN license.
• If IV therapy is required, completion of an ND-approved IV therapy course is needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients.
• Documents a thorough medical history from patient.
• Contributes to the assessment of patients and administers medications or treatments as ordered.
• Provides technical support to healthcare professionals.
• Counseling patients and family on prevention and treatment plans.
