Qualifications

• Certified Social Worker OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker OR Registered Nurse OR Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls from the emergency department to perform a thorough mental status evaluation, including collateral history and diagnostic impression.
• Provide assessment results with the Psychiatry physician responsible for discussing impression and treatment options and apprises ED staff of any adverse changes in the patient's condition.
