Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing seeks a pediatric emergency physician to join a busy 30-bed pediatric ER in the Las Vegas area, delivering high-quality care to about 55,000 annual patients. You will collaborate with PEM physicians, hospitalists, and subspecialists, participate in teaching residents and fellows, and work full-time with twelve 12-hour shifts per month and full scribe coverage.

This is a permanent, full-time position that may require residency in the immediate local area and relocation;

Qualifications

• Board eligible (within 5 yrs of residency) or Board Certified in Pediatrics (Las Vegas)
• Board eligible (within 5 yrs of residency) or Board Certified in PEM (Summerlin)
• Active Nevada license or willingness to obtain
• Clean malpractice and license history - HIGHLY PREFERRED
• Current or recent inpatient hospital experience
• Disclose if already living in the area or willing to relocate
• Disclose if requiring visa support - J1 or H1B
• Open to fresh graduates with recent inpatient experience
• DEA (must be obtained prior to start)
• CSR/CDS (must be obtained prior to start)

Job Description

• Provide high-quality pediatric emergency care in a busy, 30-bed pediatric ER with volumes approaching 55,000 patients annually
• Collaborate closely with Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) physicians, hospitalists, and subspecialty teams
• Participate in a supportive environment with child life specialists and pediatric social workers integrated into ER care
• Contribute to teaching and mentorship of pediatric, emergency medicine, and family practice residents, as well as Pediatric ER fellows
• Work full-time, covering twelve 12-hour shifts per month
• Utilize full scribe coverage to enhance efficiency and patient care quality
• Engage with affiliated Pediatric ICU, CVICU, and NICU teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions
