Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group seeks a Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician to join the Sunrise Children’s Hospital team in Las Vegas, NV. The PEM fellowship-trained physician will leadership in a busy pediatric ER, with strong subspecialty coverage and a multi-program hosting site for residents and fellows.

The role offers experienced colleagues, full-time hours, and access to comprehensive benefits; practice support includes scribe coverage and a balanced staff mix across pediatric subspecialties.

Qualifications

• Fellowship-trained in PEM and board-eligible or board-certified in PEM.
• MD or DO degree with PEM subspecialty training.
• Experience in pediatric emergency medicine is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality pediatric emergency care in a 30-bed ER at Sunrise Children's Hospital.
• Collaborate with PICU, CVICU, NICU, and hospitalist teams.
• Participate in teaching and supervision of residents and fellows and ongoing quality initiatives.

We are seeking a PEM fellowship trained physician to join our team at Sunrise Children's Hospital in Las Vegas, NV.

Program Highlights

• 30-bed state-of-the-are pediatric ER.
• Volumes approaching 55K.
• Excellent subspecialty coverage.
• We have a robust PICU, CVICU, NICU, and Hospitalist program.
• Child life and peds social work have a strong ER presence.
• Pediatrician and Practitioner staffing is well balanced.
• Full scribe coverage.
• Full-time position is1560 hours annually with potential for overtime if desired
• We have Peds, EM and FP residents from six programs and are a hosting site for Pediatric ER Fellows.
