Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a pediatric emergency physician for a busy Las Vegas ER. This role involves high-volume pediatric care, collaboration with PEM physicians, hospitalists, and subspecialty teams, and teaching responsibilities for residents and fellows.

Qualifications

• Board eligible (within 5 yrs of residency) or board certified in pediatrics
• Active Nevada license or willingness to obtain
• Clean malpractice and license history - highly preferred
• Current or recent inpatient hospital experience
• Disclose if already living in the area or willing to relocate
• Disclose visa requirements - J1 or H1B
• Open to fresh graduates with recent inpatient experience
• DEA (must be obtained prior to start)
• CSR/CDS (must be obtained prior to start)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality pediatric emergency care in a busy 30-bed pediatric ER with volumes approaching 55,000 patients annually
• Collaborate with PEM physicians, hospitalists, and subspecialty teams
• Participate in teaching and mentorship of residents and fellows

• Utilize full scribe coverage to enhance efficiency and patient care quality
• Engage with NICU, CVICU, and PED teams for seamless transitions

• Collaborate closely with Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) physicians, hospitalists, and subspecialty teams
• Participate in a supportive environment with child life specialists and pediatric social workers integrated into ER care
• Contribute to teaching and mentorship of pediatric, emergency medicine, and family practice residents, as well as Pediatric ER fellows
• Work full-time, covering twelve 12-hour shifts per month
• Utilize full scribe coverage to enhance efficiency and patient care quality
• Engage with affiliated Pediatric ICU, CVICU, and NICU teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions
