Job summary

ACEP Now seeks an Associate Medical Director for Pediatric Emergency Medicine to lead quality initiatives and clinical operations at a major PEM program. You will work with the Medical Director and colleagues to mentor physicians, guide onboarding, and shape departmental culture in a high-intensity setting.

You will maintain a clinical role with flexible scheduling while advancing academic and QI opportunities. Leadership experience is valued in a collaborative, family-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
• Leadership experience or strong leadership potential.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and teaching.
• Interest in POCUS, QI, Sedation, EMS, AI, or Transfer Medical Control.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Medical Director to enhance clinical quality and operations.
• Support physician onboarding, education, and development.
• Help shape department strategy and culture.
• Foster collaboration with nursing, leadership, and subspecialists.
• Maintain a clinical role with flexible scheduling options.
