K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ is seeking a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Medical Director to lead an established PEM program and shape its future. The role offers clinical leadership, academic growth, and opportunities to expand fellowship offerings.

The candidate should be board-certified in PEM with a strong academic background and the ability to guide a diverse team of physicians, fellows, and extenders within a Level I PED center.

Qualifications

• BC in Pediatric Emergency Medicine with established academic and leadership background.
• Ability to develop and grow an innovative and clinically excellent PEM program, with potential PEM fellowship.
• Ability to nurture goals of the 5 FT, 2 PT, and multiple per diem physicians in the PED.

Responsibilities

• Lead an independent pediatric ED with 23,000 annual visits and 20 pediatric beds.
• Advance clinical excellence, research opportunities, and educational initiatives.
• Collaborate with medical staff, hospital leadership, and academic partners.
• Oversee EPIC EMR usage and credentialing processes.
