Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) seeks a nurse leader to provide operational and clinical supervision in a busy Emergency Department. The supervisor will lead frontline staff, collaborate with the Manager, and implement plans to improve performance, quality, and patient satisfaction.

The role emphasizes developing systems to optimize workflow, maintain strong team communication, and ensure safe care delivery in a high-acuity pediatric ED with a substantial annual volume.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree and California licensure in respective discipline required.
• For nursing: California RN License, American Heart Association BLS and PALS Card.
• National Certification Required.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line supervision of staff on the unit.
• Collaborate with the Manager to implement performance and quality improvement plans.
• Develop systems to ensure efficient workflow and collaborative relationships with physicians and interprofessional team.
• Maintain open communication with manager regarding patients, family, personnel and departmental issues.
