Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with management, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care according to policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an exceptional patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, and deliver high-quality care.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and leadership to improve outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to enhance performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

Qualifications:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS), obtained within 30 days of employment
• Pediatric Emergency Nurse Certification, obtained within 18 months
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), obtained within 18 months
• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in Pediatric Emergency Department
• Charge RN experience
