Role Overview

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high-quality, patient-centered care, coordinating all functions in the unit. Partnering with management, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care according to policies and supports staff to ensure an excellent patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
2. Assist with admission and discharge processes.
3. Collaborate with subject matter experts and leadership to improve outcomes and service.
4. Provide coaching, feedback, and training to staff.
5. Assist with staff scheduling.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment
• Pediatric Emergency Nurse Certification (must be obtained within 18 months)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (must be obtained within 18 months)
• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in Pediatric Emergency Department
• Charge RN experience preferred
