Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Pediatric Emergency Department RN for a 9-week assignment in the DC area. You will provide urgent pediatric care, coordinate with the hospital team, and uphold patient-centered standards.

The role requires a DC RN license, pediatric ED experience, and active certifications in TNCC, NIHSS, BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Live within 50 miles of the facility and be prepared for 3x12-hour days per week.

Qualifications

• Active DC RN license required; no pending licenses accepted.
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Certifications: TNCC, NIHSS, BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA).
• Minimum two years full-time or three years part-time acute care experience.
• Recent pediatric ED experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric emergency care in the ED setting.
• Work 3x12-hour day shifts per week.
• Commit to a 9-week assignment length.
• Deliver specialized care to infants, children, and young adults in urgent need.
• Lead and mentor the healthcare team as needed.
• Apply Patient-Centered Care and Service Excellence standards.
• Must reside within 50 miles of the facility.
• Demonstrate job stability with ability to sustain for 2+ years.
