Job summary

Advocate Health Huntersville Emergency Department is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced ED. The team treats pediatric and adult patients with a focus on family-centered care, in a department with 11 beds and a trauma room.

The role requires 6 months of RN experience and an active RN license in the state, with ACLS due within 6 months. Mid-shift schedules run 11a-11p; compensation ranges from $38.20 to $57.30 per hour, with benefits

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience; not for new graduates.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the practicing state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Inpatient RN experience preferred; pediatric care emphasis a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead with evidence-based practice and compassionate communication to ensure the safest patient environment and best experience.
