Job summary

Mercor is hiring physicians (MD) with pediatric emergency department or pediatric urgent care experience to review, annotate, and evaluate clinical documentation for AI systems. You will apply your acute-care expertise to shape the accuracy, safety, and usefulness of medical AI outputs.

This is remote, part-time work with a minimum of 10 hours per week through mid-November, designed around an active clinical practice.

Qualifications

• MD with pediatric emergency medicine or pediatric urgent care background.
• US-based physician.
• Available for a minimum of 10 hours/week through mid-November.

Responsibilities

• Review pediatric ED and urgent care documentation for accuracy and clinical soundness.
• Evaluate AI-generated summaries against expected clinician view.
• Annotate encounter data against guidelines.
• Flag omissions and inaccuracies in AI outputs.
• Provide structured written feedback for engineering/product teams.
• Contribute input on annotation guidelines and edge-case definitions.
