Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Pediatric ED Clinical Nurse Coord RN - Supervisor to lead and coordinate patient-centered care in our pediatric emergency department. You will partner with leadership to monitor nursing care, ensure adherence to policies, and act as a resource for staff.

You will coach and train staff, assist with admissions and discharges, and help optimize staffing. A BSN and RN license are required, with relevant AC LS/ENPC/TNCC/PALS certifications preferred and timely

Qualifications

• RN with pediatric ER experience required.
• BSN is required and RN license must be active.
• Certifications ACLS, ENPC, TNCC, and PALS are preferred or required within specified deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor high-quality, patient-centered care in the Pediatric ED.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes and bed management.
• Provide coaching, feedback and training to nursing staff to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling and coverage as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
