Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) provides high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinates unit functions. In partnership with management, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care according to policies, serving as a resource and supporting an excellent patient experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Partnering with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.
• Assisting with admission and discharge processes.
• Supporting improved outcomes and service through collaboration with experts and leadership.
• Providing coaching, feedback, and training to staff.
• Assisting with staff scheduling.

Qualifications:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of start
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Certification (ENPC) within 18 months
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 18 months
• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BSN required
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in Pediatric Emergency Department
• Charge Nurse experience
