Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care according to established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What You Will Do In This Role

• Coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Support improved outcomes and service in collaboration with leadership and subject matter experts.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to staff.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS), obtained within 30 days of employment
• Pediatric Emergency Nurse Certification (ENPC), obtained within 18 months
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), obtained within 18 months
• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BSN required
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in Pediatric Emergency Department
• Charge RN experience preferred
