Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta seeks an experienced nursing education professional to lead clinical education programs and onboarding for pediatric staff. Qualifications

• BSN required and Georgia RN licensure.
• Master's degree in nursing or education preferred.
• Experience in pediatric education and clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates onboarding of new employees, orienting and socializing to the organization with a focus on retention and growth.
• Develops and implements individualized orientation plans guiding new employees to job competency.
• Coordinates logistics of orientation while keeping stakeholders informed.
• Develops, coordinates, manages and documents competency outcomes and objectives.
• Promotes compliance with regulatory standards and maintains educational records.
• Delivers educational planning using adult learning concepts and evaluates outcomes.
• Leads and supports continuing education initiatives and inter-professional education where applicable.
• Collaborates with partners to plan and decision-making for desired results and partnerships.
