Integration Health in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Pediatric ECMO Coordinator to lead ECMO staffing, education and transport initiatives on-site. You will collaborate with hospital leadership and clinical teams to coordinate ECMO services, training, and program development.

The role requires strong communication, clinical ECMO expertise, and the ability to train staff. Eligible candidates should have a relevant bachelor’s degree and previous ECMO coordination experience.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, respiratory care or perfusion technology required.
• Experience as Pediatric ECMO Coordinator preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with hospital staff, patients, and families.
• Ability to train others and lead ECMO initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Understand and promote ECMO staffing, education and transport offerings.
• Coordinators will be available to executives and hospital leadership for emergencies.
• Must be able to set up, prime, blood prime and initiate ECMO support and train others to do so.
• Accurately identify ECMO circuit/component issues and provide safe alternatives.
• Evaluate patient medical records and make recommendations based on orders/goals.
• Coordinate didactic and simulation (wet lab) education as requested.
• Maintain professionalism and effective communication with all team members, hospital staff, patients and families.
• Participate in quality initiatives and mortality/morbidity reviews; support ECMO program growth.

Accredited training program in perfusion/ECMO
