Sanford Health in North Peds Clinic, Bismarck, ND, is seeking a Diabetes Educator to educate patients on self-care, develop personalized care plans, and monitor progress.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in nursing, RN licensure, BLS, and at least two years of clinical nursing experience with diabetes management.

This full-time position includes weekends on-call every 7th weekend and opportunities to engage in community outreach and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience required with leadership skills.
• Current RN licensure in state(s) of practice; multi-state licensure as needed.
• Must hold or obtain Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) within three years when eligible; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on self-care involved in diabetes management.
• Develop personalized diabetes care plans and monitor patient progress.
• Provide one-on-one and group education sessions; participate in community outreach.
