Job summary

UTMB Health in Galveston seeks a Pediatric Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician at Open Rank to join its Department of Pediatrics. The role combines clinical care, education of residents and medical students, and development of a funded research program.

The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team, provide outpatient assessments, and mentor learners in a nationally recognized academic health system. Relocation and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from LCME or COCA accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Residency.
• Board Certification in American Board of Professional Psychology.
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted State of Texas Physician License.
• U.S. Citizenship or Employment Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient care and medical education.
• Demonstrated clinical and/or basic science research productivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric outpatient psychological assessment and intervention services to children and families.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Join a multidisciplinary team to support clinical, educational and research missions.
