Job summary

UTMB Health in Galveston invites applications for a Pediatric General Clinician Educator at open rank (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor). The role blends clinical care with medical education and residents' and students' teaching within UTMB’s Pediatric service lines.

Primary duties include providing general pediatric care in inpatient/outpatient settings, mentoring learners, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to advance education and patient care across the RWSP clinics and UTMB

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Residency Program.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in General Pediatrics.
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted Texas medical license.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient care and medical education.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general pediatric care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support the division’s clinical and educational missions.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
