42 North Dental's Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI is seeking a Pediatric Dentist or General Dentist willing to treat children. The practice provides General, Pediatric, Orthodontic, and Periodontic services, with a modern facility and integrated orthodontics and oral surgery.

The right candidate will have a DMD or DDS, board eligibility, state license, and relevant certifications. Depending on schedule, the role can be part-time or full-time, with a daily rate of $1,000-$1,200 USD.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office; keep abreast of new developments through continuing education.
