42 North Dental’s Great Lakes Family Dental practice in Saginaw, MI is hiring a Pediatric Dentist or a General Dentist who enjoys treating children. Position can be full‑time or part‑time, with a per diem rate of $1,000–$1,200. Applicants must have a DDS/DMD, state licensure, Hep B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a ADA CODA‑accredited program.
• Board eligibility or board certification in pediatric dentistry.
• Active state dental license to practice in the relevant state.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret X‑rays and monitor growth and development of teeth/jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain high standards of care, ethics, and professionalism.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
