Job summary

42 North Dental in Wellesley, MA (just outside of Boston) is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dentist to join our multi-specialty practice focused on preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. This role offers a per diem compensation with uncapped earnings through a percentage of collections and a supportive, collaborative team environment.

We provide comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities; ideal candidate holds a DMD or DDS, board eligibility, and MA license.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Board eligibility or board certification in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain ethics and professionalism; stay updated with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
