Job summary

Shore Staffing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Maryland Licensed Dentist for a part-time opportunity in Baltimore, MD.

The role focuses on providing comprehensive dental services to pediatric and adolescent patients in a secure healthcare setting, with a schedule of roughly 16 hours per week across two days. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of dentistry.
• Current Maryland Dentist License in good standing.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience practicing dentistry.
• Experience providing dental care to pediatric and/or adolescent patients.
• Current DEA Registration.
• Current Maryland CDS Registration.
• Current CPR and Emergency Cardiac Care certification.
• Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Must be able to successfully complete all required background and credentialing requirements prior to beginning services.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care to pediatric and adolescent patients.
• Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and preventive visits.
• Review patient medical and dental histories; develop treatment plans.
• Provide oral hygiene education and preventive care.
• Perform dental cleanings and fluoride treatments as indicated.
• Apply dental sealants when appropriate.
• Obtain and interpret dental X-rays.
• Diagnose and treat dental conditions; perform routine restorations.
• Perform dental extractions and anterior root canal treatment when appropriate.
• Evaluate and treat dental pain and infection; coordinate referrals as needed.
• Maintain complete and accurate dental records; document exams and follow-ups.
• Collaborate with nursing, medical, and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist with triaging urgent dental concerns; ensure infection-control practices.
