Shore Staffing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Maryland Licensed Dentist for a part-time opportunity in Baltimore, MD.

The role focuses on providing comprehensive dental services to pediatric and adolescent patients in a secure healthcare setting, with a schedule of roughly 16 hours per week across two days. The Dentist will conduct exams, formulate treatment plans, perform cleanings and sealants, interpret X-rays, and coordinate referrals as needed, while maintaining detailed records and

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited school of dentistry.
• Current Maryland Dentist License in good standing.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience practicing dentistry.
• Experience providing dental care to pediatric and/or adolescent patients.
• Current DEA Registration.
• Current Maryland CDS Registration.
• Current CPR and Emergency Cardiac Care certification.
• Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Must be able to successfully complete all required background and credentialing requirements prior to beginning services.

Shore Staffing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Maryland Licensed Dentist for a part‑time opportunity providing comprehensive dental services to an adolescent patient population in a secure healthcare setting in Baltimore, Maryland.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dentist seeking a consistent part‑time schedule while providing meaningful, hands‑on dental care to youth who may have previously experienced limited access to routine dental services.

Schedule

• Approximately 16 hours per week

• Approximately 2 days per week

• Tuesdays and Fridays preferred

• Daytime hours, generally between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

• On-site in Baltimore, Maryland

Responsibilities

The Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care to pediatric and adolescent patients, including:

• Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and preventive dental visits

• Review patient medical and dental histories

• Develop individualized dental treatment plans

• Provide oral hygiene education and preventive dental care

• Perform dental cleanings and fluoride treatments as clinically indicated

• Apply dental sealants when appropriate

• Obtain and interpret dental X-rays

• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic dental conditions

• Perform routine restorative procedures

• Perform dental extractions

• Perform anterior root canal treatment when clinically appropriate

• Evaluate and treat dental pain and infection

• Identify patients requiring specialty dental services and coordinate appropriate referrals

• Maintain complete and accurate dental records

• Document examinations, diagnoses, treatment plans, procedures, and follow‑up recommendations

• Collaborate with nursing, medical, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care

• Assist with triaging patients experiencing urgent dental concerns

• Maintain appropriate infection‑control and sterilization practices

• Provide clinical oversight to dental support staff as appropriate

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of dentistry

• Current Maryland Dentist License in good standing

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience practicing dentistry

• Experience providing dental care to pediatric and/or adolescent patients

• Current DEA Registration

• Current Maryland CDS Registration

• Current CPR and Emergency Cardiac Care certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

• Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team

• Must be able to successfully complete all required background and credentialing requirements prior to beginning services
