Job summary

Adventure Dental in Essex, MD is seeking a part-time General Dentist to provide preventive and restorative care for children, instruct staff on assisting in treatment, and educate caregivers on preventive practices.

This role runs on Mondays, Fridays, and/or Saturdays with PRN opportunities; pay range is $700-$1000 per day. You will collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality care to underserved children.

Qualifications

• State dental license in good standing.
• Strong interest in working with children.
• Ability to acquire Medicaid Provider number and NPI number.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle a diverse workload.
• Ability to multi-task and complete tasks correctly and on time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and respond promptly to patient and caregiver needs.
• Examine patients, diagnose diseases, and perform necessary procedures.
• Educate caregivers and patients on treatment and prevention.
• Partner with neighboring practices to inform referring providers.
• Promote good oral health habits among children.
• Participate in team activities, meetings, and communications.
