Qualifications

• Valid state dental hygiene license is required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing.
• Take and develop dental x-rays.
• Assess patients' oral health by examining and reviewing medical history.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and home care recommendations.
• Assist the dentist during procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic dental software (Open Dental).
• Follow infection control protocols to ensure safety of patients and staff.
• Collaborate with the dental team to create treatment plans.
