Job summary

CHAS Health is seeking a licensed dentist to join our dental team in Washington/Idaho. You will provide restorative, surgical, and preventive services, while upholding infection control and patient safety standards.

You will develop treatment plans, discuss options with patients, and coordinate care with other providers. Our compensation package includes extensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Completion of ADA accredited dental program required.
• Valid dentist license in the state of Washington or Idaho required upon hire.
• Previous experience working with under-served populations desired.
• Certification through The Drug Enforcement Agency required.

Responsibilities

• Performs restorative, surgical and preventive dental services.
• Follows infection control procedures.
• Reviews medical histories at each visit.
• Consults with patient’s health care provider or other clinic provider as needed.
• Diagnoses dental disease and develops a treatment plan.
• Explains course of treatment to patient and gathers input.
• Balances treatment plan with patient needs and clinic resources.
• Ensures prescriptions align with CHAS Health protocols.
• Participates in staff meetings and continuing education.
• Precepts dental assisting and hygiene students as requested.
