Qualifications

• Ability to work under stress and maintain organization.
• Maintain authoritative knowledge in sound dental practice.
• CODA approved pediatric dental residency completed; board certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental procedures according to ADA standards.
• Supervise/manage/train dental department staff and residents.
• Interpret radiographs to plan treatment and deliver care.
• Educate patients with interpreters as needed; document services within 72 hours.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure positive outcomes.
• Assist training of new dental assistants; supervise staff when leadership is absent.
• Consult on purchase of new dental equipment; perform restorations and extractions.
• Provide comprehensive rehabilitation under general anesthesia in the OR.
• Monitor and manage growth, dental appliances, and patient development.
