Job summary

42 North Dental seeks a Pediatric Dentist (or General Dentist) open to treating children to join our team at the Saginaw, MI office. We provide General, Pediatric, Orthodontic, and Periodontic services in a modern, patient‑centered practice.

The right candidate will have a DMD or DDS, be board eligible or certified in pediatric dentistry, and hold a current state license with Hepatitis B vaccination documented.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests. Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain high ethics and professionalism within the practice

Education

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program
