Job summary

42North Dental in Saginaw, MI seeks a Pediatric Dentist or General Dentist open to treating children to join our team at our Saginaw office. We offer general, pediatric, orthodontic, and periodontic services with a modern, state-of-the-art facility and integrated orthodontics and oral surgery.

The right candidate is passionate about pediatric care, seeking a long‑term career, and has a DMD/DDS along with state licensure and board eligibility.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office; keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
