Job summary
Great Lakes Family Dental is seeking a full-time Pediatric Dentist (or a General Dentist open to treating children) to join our Saginaw, MI office. We offer a broad range of services including general, pediatric, orthodontic, and periodontic care with a modern facility and advanced technology.
The ideal candidate will have a DMD/DDS, pediatric board eligibility/board certification, and a current state license.
Qualifications
- DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
- Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
- Current state license to practice dentistry.
- Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
- Proof of malpractice insurance.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention.
- Diagnose oral diseases and develop treatment plans.
- Educate patients on oral health options and treatments.
- Create and present comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
- Review treatment options with patients to align with goals.
- Maintain and update patients' dental records.
- Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests to monitor growth and development.
- Provide restorative and preventive dental care of the highest standard.
- Uphold ethics, professionalism, and adherence to current best practices.
- Pursue ongoing continuing education and professional development.
