Job summary

Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI is seeking a full-time pediatric dentist, or a general dentist open to treating children, to join our team. We provide general, pediatric, orthodontic, and periodontal services in a modern, state-of-the-art facility with integrated orthodontics and oral surgery.

Per diem options range from 1,000 to 1,200. The right candidate will have a passion for child patient care, a current dental license, and a commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documented.
• Malpractice insurance and BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain high quality standard of care; uphold ethics and professionalism.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
