Job summary

Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI is seeking a Pediatric Dentist (or General Dentist) open to treating children to join our team. We provide General, Pediatric, Orthodontic, and Periodontic services in a modern, state-of-the-art facility.

The right candidate will have a DMD or DDS, board eligibility, a current state license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification. We offer part-time or full-time schedules and growth opportunities within 42 North Dental.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA‑accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests. Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office
