Job summary

Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI is seeking a Pediatric Dentist or a General Dentist who is open to treating children to join our team in our Saginaw office. We provide General, Pediatric, Orthodontic, and Periodontic services with a dedicated patient base and modern facility.

The right candidate will have a DMD or DDS and be board-eligible or board-certified in pediatric dentistry, with current license and BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
Current state license to practice dentistry.
Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
Proof of malpractice insurance.
Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Promote oral health and disease prevention
Diagnose oral diseases
Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
Review treatment plan options with patients
Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests
Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office
