Job summary
Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI seeks a Pediatric Dentist (or General Dentist) passionate about treating children to join our team. This multi‑specialty practice provides General, Pediatric, Orthodontic, and Periodontic services in a modern facility with integrated orthodontics and oral surgery.
Candidates must hold a DMD/DDS, be board eligible or certified in pediatric dentistry, and possess a current state license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR
Qualifications
- Dentistry degree from an ADA CODA‑accredited program.
- Board eligibility or board certification in pediatric dentistry.
- Active state license to practice dentistry.
- Hepatitis B vaccination documentation.
- Malpractice insurance coverage.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention.
- Diagnose oral diseases.
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
- Create and review treatment plans to restore oral health.
- Review treatment options with patients.
- Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
- Interpret X‑rays and diagnostics; monitor dental and jaw development.
- Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
- Maintain high standards of ethics, professionalism, and care.
