Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a full-time pediatric dentist, or a general dentist open to treating children, to join our team in Saginaw, MI. We provide General, Pediatric, Orthodontic, and Periodontic services in a modern, state-of-the-art facility.

The right candidate will have a passion for working with children, state license, board eligibility, and commitment to excellence in patient care. Per diem option schedules available; excellent growth opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

Must have DMD/DDS degree from CODA-accredited program.
Board-eligible or board-certified in pediatric dentistry.
Current state dental license.
Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
Proof of malpractice insurance.
Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Promote oral health and disease prevention
Diagnose oral diseases
Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
Review treatment plan options with patients
Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests. Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office
Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through current continuing education courses and professional development
