Job summary

42 North Dental in Saginaw, MI is seeking a full-time pediatric dentist, or a general dentist who treats children, to join our team. We provide General, Pediatric, Orthodontic, and Periodontic services in a modern, state-of-the-art facility.

The role involves promoting oral health, diagnosing diseases, creating treatment plans, and maintaining patient records. Our practice features integrated orthodontics and oral surgery, with Solea Laser, CBCT, iTero scanners, and a collaborative team

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review, interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
