The ideal candidate has a DMD or DDS, state license, and pediatric board eligibility or certification, with BLS/CPR and malpractice insurance coverage. A stable, long-term schedule is encouraged.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and develop treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality of care and ethics.
• Stay updated with new developments and continuing education.
