Job summary

Wellesley Dental Group, part of 42North Dental, is seeking a Pediatric Dentist to join our team in Wellesley, MA. This part-time role offers per diem compensation with potential for a flexible schedule and a pathway to long-term growth.

The practice provides integrated orthodontics and periodontics, a state-of-the-art facility, and a supportive, collaborative team environment with opportunities to expand the schedule.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review, interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain high quality standard of care for all patients.
• Uphold ethics and professionalism in the dental office.
• Stay updated on new developments and best practices.
