42 North Dental, a multi-specialty dental practice near Boston, seeks a part-time Pediatric Dentist to join our Wellesley team. The role offers a per diem pay model with earning potential through collections, integrated orthodontics and periodontics, and a supportive environment focused on long-term careers.

Ideal candidates hold a DMD or DDS and state licensure, with board eligibility/certification in pediatric dentistry, BLS/CPR, and malpractice insurance.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment options with patients.
• Update and maintain patients' dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain high standard of care and professionalism, and pursue continuing education.
