Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Pediatric Dentist (or general dentist open to treating children) for our Great Lakes Family Dental practice in Saginaw, MI. The hybrid role offers both pediatric and general dental services, with modern equipment and a collaborative team.

The position supports part-time or full-time schedules, a per diem rate of $1,000–$1,200, and opportunities for career growth within a multi‑specialty dental office focused on preventive, restorative and cosmetic care.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA‑accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and maintain patient medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and professional ethics.
