Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a pediatric dentist (or general dentist with pediatric focus) for our Great Lakes Family Dental practice in Saginaw, MI. The role involves treating children, offering comprehensive general, pediatric, orthodontic and periodontic services in a modern facility.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients’ medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain ethical and professional standards within the dental office; stay updated on new developments and continuing education.
