Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers, LLC is seeking a Dental Assistant to support pediatric patients and special needs cases in a fast-paced ASC setting. The DA assists the dentist and anesthesia provider, scrubs for procedures, maintains sterile fields, and supports nursing care for surgical patients.

The successful candidate will have an accredited Dental Assistant program, an active RDA license, and a current BLS certificate.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent;
• Completion of an Accredited Dental Assistant Program;
• Current state license to practice as a registered dental assistant;
• One year of RDA experience;
• Current BLS Certificate
• Background and Drug Screening Required
• 30-40 hours a week (full time)

Responsibilities

• Assist and anticipate needs of the dentist and anesthesia provider with instruments, sutures, and supplies.
• Prepare for dental surgical cases by gathering supplies and equipment and maintaining stock room.
• Scrub for procedures, clean and sterilize instruments, and ensure room readiness.
• Know and follow dentist preferences and care for pediatric/adolescent patients.
• Take and check x-rays and maintain x-ray equipment.
• Front Desk duties and Patient Service Coordinator responsibilities as needed.
