Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers is seeking a Dental Assistant to support pediatric patients undergoing dental procedures in our surgery center. The role involves scrubbing for surgeries, instrument and room prep, and collaboration with dentists and anesthesia providers to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

The DA will also assist with record-keeping, x-ray tasks, inventory management, sterilization, and occasional front desk responsibilities as part of a coordinated care team.

Qualifications

• One year of RDA experience.
• Current state license to practice as a registered dental assistant.
• Background and drug screening required.
• Current BLS certificate

Responsibilities

• Assist and anticipate needs of the dentist and anesthesia provider as it relates to instruments, sutures, sponges and supplies.
• Prepare for dental surgical cases by picking supplies and equipment and ensuring availability.
• Maintain inventory and stock room; decontaminate and maintain all equipment and rooms.
• Follow CDC guidelines for decontamination and sterilization.
• Take and check x-ray equipment and assist with patient transfer.
• Front Desk duties will be part of this position as well as a Patient Service Coordinator.
